​Born and raised a "water-baby" in southern California, I grew up in the surf with a love for the ocean and respect for it's power. Years of competitive swimming and water polo has helped me to better interact with the shore-break as it can be a physically demanding place to work in. Having the ability to hold my breath a long while after having it knocked out of me by a large wave has it's advantages!

I started my photography in the medical field, documenting the human body. This lead me to a career in medicine, but the love for photography and capturing life's moments has always been my passion. Now, I want to share these shore-break moments for all to see.

I also get out for long hikes and there is nothing better than the raw beauty of the desert.  Northern Arizona has some magical spots!

About my Photos....
Everything you see is real..... it all comes from the original shot. There have been color/contrast adjustments from the original pictures to bring out the look i want but nothing has been "added" to my photos.  These are the real thing. No "photoshop additions" going on here.
